Instant Red Sauce Pasta

Missing your go-to Italian place for a quick bowl of that Indian style pasta. Well, you can still cook your own version in under 15 mins and feel proud about it. And believe me, it tastes better 😊.


  • Pasta of your choice – 100g
  • Milk – 1 cup (150-180 ml)
  • Tomato ketchup – 2 serving spoons
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tea spoon (optional)
  • Chopped onion – 1 (optional)
  • Chili flakes/ Oregano – 2 sachets each
  • Oil – 5 tea spoons
  • Salt to taste


  • Put Pasta to boil. Add few drops of cooking oil and keep stirring at an interval of 1-2 minutes
  • Once done, strain and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped onions
  • Saute for a 1-2 minutes till slightly brown
  • Lower the flame, add salt, ketchup and mix well
  • Add milk and stir till the mixture comes to boil. Now add the pasta and mix well
  • On a medium flame, keep cooking until the consistency is as per you liking
  • Turn the stove off, add seasonings of choice, mix well

Pro tip: Add grated cheese while you are thickening the consistency of pasta for a cheesy version!
